Sana'a Airport |
Israel conducted attacks on the Red Sea port of Hodeidah and Yemen's capital, Sana'ar International Airport. Al Masirah, a TV channel owned by the Houthi rebel faction in Yemen, revealed this information.
The Houthis of Yemen claimed to have attacked Israel with hypersonic missiles earlier last week. According to the Houthis, Israel's "massacre" in Gaza prompted the attack. They further declared that until the battle in Gaza is over, they will keep attacking Israel in this manner.Last week, the Houthis attacked, injuring at least 12 Israelis. Last Saturday, the missile struck a Tel Aviv park. Israel was not shot down by the missile.
Israel has been hitting Yemen repeatedly since that incident.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Hodeidah's power plant, military installation, and Sana'a airport were the targets of attacks. Houthi rebels and eyewitnesses were cited by news agency AFP to confirm the incident.
Israel has acknowledged that Houthi positions were the goal of the attack. According to the Israeli military (IDF), it targeted Houthi-used infrastructure at Sana'a International Airport. Targets have also included military sites and power plants.
The IDF stated that the Houthis constitute a key component of Iran's axis in relation to this strike. The area and the world at large remain unstable as a result of their attacks on international shipping lines.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, issued a warning, saying, "I have ordered our troops to destroy Houthi infrastructure." He said, "We will jump with full force against those who try to harm us."
