Netanyahu said that Iran used hundreds of ballistic missiles to target Israel in those attacks. However, they were unsuccessful. "We have kept our promise," he added. Our air force launched an attack on Iran, targeting its missile manufacturing centers and defense capabilities.
Tehran said the attack on Israel on October 1 was in retaliation for the killings of Iran-backed Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and a commander of its own Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
On the other hand, since the start of the Gaza war, Israel has said that it attacked Iran last Saturday in response to attacks by Iran and armed groups supported by the country. However, Israel did not admit any attack on Iran before this attack.
